Assistant Coach Brittney Dukes

Brittney Dukes is in her fifth season as the Assistant Coach for the Women’s Baskeball team. Previously, she was the Graduate Assistant for Women’s Basketball for two seasons.

"Coach Dukes has absolutely earned her way into the promotion of Assistant Coach," Head Coach Kelsey Keizer commented. "She has bled purple since the day she stepped onto our campus and I could not imagine SBU Basketball without her on our bench. Coach Dukes brings to our coaching staff an outgoing personality along with a competitiveness that is unmatched. Coach Dukes will have a major impact on the success of our team this season."

Brittney graduated from Southwest Baptist in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Pyschology.  During her time as a student at SBU, Dukes played on the Women’s Basketball team for two seasons.  She earned MIAA All-Conference Honorable Mention honors in both her Junior and Senior seasons.  Over her two seasons, Brittney scored 667 points for the Bearcats, averaging 12.8 points per game.  Prior to coming to SBU, Brittney earned her Associate of Arts degree from Trinity Valley Community College in 2011. Brittney, a native of Bossier City, Louisiana currently resides in Bolivar, Missouri.
